Native Houstonian, Sandra Colley, has been part of Houston’s art community for 62 years…she began studying art in the original Museum of Fine Arts building on Main Street at age seven, and has been passionate about it ever since. The body of her work includes abstract expressionism, impressionism and realism. While known mostly for her abstract paintings, she has rendered graphite sketches of some of Houston’s most famous buildings and residences and has been featured in Southern Accents and the Houston Chronicle’s Texas Magazine. Her canvases can be found in local shows and galleries, including her own small studio/gallery in the village on South Boulevard, where she meets privately with designers and clients who commission her work and greets them with her warmth and hospitality.
